Wake Forest Community Library is Back
After a brief refresh, our local library returns with a bright new look and more space for community events.
Happy Monday, Wake Forest!
We have some fantastic news to kick off your week. If you’ve been missing our local book haven, the wait is finally over.
The Wake Forest Community Library officially reopened its doors today, Monday, Feb. 9, 2026.
For those who have walked past 400 E. Holding Avenue recently, you might have noticed things have been quiet, but plenty has been happening inside. The library has undergone a fresh update, including a full carpet replacement and a refreshed layout designed to improve flow and comfort.
Perhaps most exciting for our local families and groups is the larger program area. This expanded space means more room for storytimes, community meetings, and the events that bring us all together. The goal was to create a brighter, more open atmosphere, and they are ready to welcome us back.
Whether you need to grab a new stack of books, use the WiFi, or just enjoy a quiet corner, here is what you need to know to plan your visit:
🕰 Hours
